Dr. Manuel Fernandez is a Professor in the area of Finance and Accounting. He holds a Master of Commerce (M. Com) in Financial Accounting, Master of Philosophy (M. Phil) in Financial Management, and PhD from the University of Kerala, India (https://www.keralauniversity.ac.in). He holds professional certifications CMA (Certified Management Accountant) and CSCA (Certified in Strategy and Competitive Analysis) from the Institute of Management Accountants, USA (https://www.imanet.org). He is an Associate Member (ACMA) of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (https://icmai.in). He has more than three decades of work experience in teaching, research, and academic administration.

Prior to joining IMT Dubai, he was a Professor at Skyline University College, Sharjah (https://www.skylineuniversity.ac.ae); before that, he was an Associate Professor at Fatima Mata National College, Kerala (https://fmnc.ac.in).  He has published 50 + research papers in refereed international journals and has presented research papers in international conferences and global forms.
